All NADRA Offices to Remain Closed for 1 Day on Allama Iqbal Day – Official Notification Issued
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has officially announced that all its offices across Pakistan will remain closed for one day on the occasion of Allama Iqbal Day, November 9, 2025. The closure is in line with the public holiday notification issued by the Government of Pakistan.
NADRA Offices Closure Details
According to the notification, Friday, 9th November 2025, will be observed as a nationwide public holiday to honor Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the Poet of the East and visionary behind the idea of Pakistan.
Therefore, all NADRA centers, Mega Centers, and regional offices will remain closed for the entire day and will resume normal operations on Saturday, 10th November 2025.
Reason for Closure
The closure comes as part of the national observance of Iqbal Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of one of the most respected figures in Pakistan’s history. It is a day marked with special programs, seminars, and tributes across the country.

“In pursuance of the Cabinet Division’s notification, all public offices including NADRA centers will remain closed on 9th November 2025 (Saturday) due to Allama Iqbal Day,” the statement read.

Citizens planning to visit NADRA for CNIC renewal, registration, or other services are advised to avoid visiting on November 9. Services such as Smart ID renewal, family registration, and biometric verification will resume the next working day.
Those with online appointment bookings for the same day are requested to reschedule their slots through the official NADRA website or helpline.
