Good News for Hajj Pilgrims 2025 Jobs NADRA

In a major relief for Pakistani pilgrims, the Government of Pakistan has announced that Hajj pilgrims of 2024–2025 will receive refunds of up to Rs. 110,000 under the official Hajj scheme. The Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed that the refunds will be issued after adjustments in accommodation, airfare, and service charges.

According to ministry officials, the refund amounts were finalized after an internal audit found cost savings in multiple areas during the recent Hajj operations. The initiative aims to ensure transparency and pass on every rupee saved to the pilgrims who performed Hajj through the government scheme.

The Ministry stated that pilgrims who performed Hajj under the regular and sponsorship categories will be eligible for this refund. The money will be transferred directly into the bank accounts that were used during the application and payment process.

A spokesperson said to JobsNadra.com that this refund is part of the government’s continued effort to make the Hajj process more efficient and fair for all applicants. He added that “each pilgrim will receive the amount according to the savings made in their package type.”

How Much Will Pilgrims Get Back?

As per official details, refund amounts vary according to the type of package and the expenses saved:

Package TypeApprox. Refund Amount
Regular SchemeRs. 70,000 – Rs. 110,000
Sponsorship SchemeRs. 20,000 – Rs. 60,000

Refund Process

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has already started the refund process in collaboration with designated banks. Pilgrims don’t need to submit new forms — the refund will automatically be credited to their registered bank accounts once verification is complete.
Officials have also advised all beneficiaries to avoid agents or third parties, warning that no one is authorized to collect fees or facilitate refund claims.

Transparency Measures

The government says this refund step reflects its commitment to transparency and accountability in Hajj operations. Reports suggest that the Ministry managed to save millions due to improved management and cost control. This saving is now being returned to the public in a move that has been widely welcomed by Hajj pilgrims and their families.

“This year’s refund shows that the government can manage Hajj operations more efficiently while ensuring fairness,” said a senior official at the Hajj Directorate.

Final Word

The refund process is expected to be completed within the next few weeks. Pilgrims are advised to stay in touch with their respective banks or visit the official Hajj portal for updates.
This step has been appreciated across Pakistan as a rare but encouraging example of public funds being returned to citizens — a welcome move for those who saved for years to perform Hajj.
