Position Details: Deputy Director (Artificial Intelligence)

Location: Islamabad (NADRA Headquarters)
Contract Period: 5 Years (extendable based on performance)
Maximum Age Limit: 44 years (age relaxation already included)

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field (minimum 16 years of HEC-approved education).
Master’s degree in a related discipline will be preferred.
All degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Professional Experience

7–10 years of proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist or in a similar senior data/AI role.
IBM Deep Learning Certification is highly desirable.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in handling large, complex datasets for machine learning, predictive analytics, and model optimization.
Proficient in SQL, Oracle, and scripting languages: Python and R.
Advanced use of statistical/mathematical software tools: R, SAS, Stata, Matlab, etc.
Solid background in analytics, data extraction, model development, and reporting.
Familiarity with both supervised learning (regression, time-series, decision trees, SVM, etc.) and unsupervised learning (clustering, PCA, association rules, etc.).
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and business stakeholders.
Experience building and improving machine learning/statistical models, testing enhancements, and fine-tuning parameters.
Demonstrated skill in deriving actionable insights from data and presenting clear recommendations.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Initial contract is for five years (extendable if required by NADRA).
